Wedding Cookies

I was in a friend's wedding this weekend, and made 4 dozen cookies for the rehearsal dinner. Her colors were fushia and bright green.

Tres Leches

A friend's sister asked me to make a Tres Leches (Three Milk) cake for her wedding reception. I had never even heard of this cake, so I was very nervous! I had originally planned on tiering her cake, but this cake is too heavy. So here's what we ended up with!

The town where I teach was putting on a fundraiser for a local kid who has cancer. His favorite sport is baseball, so I donated 3 dozen sugar cookies and a cake. Check them out:
